Music to my ears
Whee! Live has a new CD, Birds of Prey, coming out next week! Listening to the radio I thought I heard a song that sounded like it was Live, but I hadn't heard it before (I have all their albums), and went to their site and yes, it's a new single called Heaven. I am impressed that I can identify Ed's voice that easily. Heh. Apparently they are touring in Europe right now too...although it's with Bon Jovi...which is weird (and scary!). Hopefully that means they will be coming this way sometime in the not too far future. Saw them last year (or was it two years ago?) with Jane's Addiction...what an amazing show that was! In attempt to see if either one is coming this way, I checked out ticketmaster...and I was amazed to find how many 80s bands/singers are touring this summer...ZZ Top, Hall and Oates, Huey Lewis and the News, B-52's, Bruce Springsteen, David Lee Roth, Eddie Money, Rick Springfield, Eagles, Poison, Boston, Chicago, Heart, Terence Trent Darby, and Bon Jovi. But no Live listed...at least not yet! Jane's is playing as part of Lollapalooza this year. I'd be tempted to go but I don't know that I want to see the other bands enough to pay for the tickets.
