PromoGuy's Monday Mission 2.46
1. Is there anything you used to be able to do physically that you no longer can? What changed? Run for long periods of time. My shin splints act up much more often now and make it somewhat painful. I've really taken to the eliptical machines at the gym instead. They are much easier on the shins and knees.
2. If you could go to lunch with someone famous, anyone living or dead, who would you choose? What questions would you ask them? Hmm. Tough question. I would love to have lunch one more time with my step-dad. Get a chance to really say goodbye to him and all that. Or my grandparents and ask them about family history kinds of things that I was too young to ask about when they were alive. Someone famous...there's just too many I can think of to pick one :) (yes I am indecisive)
3. On that same thought, there are probably several Bloggers you enjoy reading but have never met in real life. Which one Blogger would you most like to meet for dinner? Why did you pick that person? What would you talk about? What do you have in common? What would you do after dinner? I wouldn't pick a "Blogger" but I'd pick a friend who has a weblog. She's in Denmark so it would be nice to meet her in person. We seem to have a lot in common and I think it would be fun to hang out and have dinner.
4. Money (or the lack thereof) is the number one cause of arguments amongst couples. Do you find this to be true? If there really was a "Money Tree" you could go an pick, would this really solve a couple's problems? In some cases I do find it to be true. But it also tends to be just one of other issues the couple has. It usually is just the most easily seen,or talked about.
5. Speaking of arguments, have you ever been drawn into any nasty, hateful arguments? The kind where hurtful things were said that had nothing to do with the fight at hand? What was that all about? How did it turn out? Yes. I had an ex-boyfriend who I fought with all the time. Hurtful things were always said and then taken back afterwards but they always stayed with me. I got to a point where it wasn't worth it anymore. Unfortunately it took me longer than it should have to see how screwed up the whole thing was.
6. When was the last time you had to admit you were wrong about something? How did that go? Probably a couple days ago but I can't remember what it was. I'm not the kind of person who is so headstrong I can't admit when I'm not right.
7. Now for a slight change of theme....what song should never have been written? Anything Celin Dion sings.
BONUS: Are you ready for a new sensation? You betcha'!
