1. Would you say that you're good at keeping in touch with people?
For the most part. At least with those people I really want to keep in touch with.
2. Which communication method do you usually prefer/use: e-mail, telephone, snail mail, blog comments, or meeting in person? Why? For the people who live near me I tend to use telephone, in person and sometimes email. Most others I do email and sometimes snail mail.
3. Do you have an instant messenger program? How many? Why/why not? How often do you use it? Yup. I have AIM and ICQ. I used to have Messenger too but it went tits up one day on my computer and when I tried to download it again to get it to work it didn't so I gave up. I use it to keep in touch with family and friends for the most part.
4. Do most of your close friends live nearby or far away? Most of them live far away.
5. Are you an "out of sight, out of mind" person, or do you believe that "distance makes the heart grow fonder"? It depends on what the thing is.
