Friday Five
1. What is your current occupation? Is this what you chose to be doing at this point in your life? Why or why not? I wish I had an occupation right now. I'm a copywriter, but I've been out of work for a while. Grr. There's a few things up in the air right now but hopefully they will pan out. Being unemployed isn't what I thought I'd be doing now. Nor the office temp work I've been doing (when there's work that is).
2. If time/talent/money were no object, what would your dream occupation be? Being a copywriter. I really like what I do. Other things I'd consider would be field studying dolphins, whales and seals, being a chef, an artist, or actress/screenwriter.
3. What did/do your parents do for a living? Has this had any influence on your career choices? Dad is a lawyer, Mom and stepdad are/were social studies teachers. It didn't have much of an effect on what I chose to do at all.
4. Have you ever had to choose between having a career and having a family?
Nope. Not yet. And I really hope I never have to.
5. In your opinion, what is the easiest job in the world? What is the hardest? Why? Hmm. That's a hard question. I'm not really sure what would be the easiest. Hardest would have to be one where you are dealing with the public or having to make extremely difficult decisions.
